Confessions of a picky eater

I have noticed that quite a few of my friends like to put their menus up for the world to read. I figured I should do the same thing. People should after all be very interested in what I am planning to eat this next week. Unfortunately the busyness of my schedule and general lack of money inhibits me from actually planning a whole week worth of meals, so instead I will simply recap what I had during the past week. So here it is;

Monday-
Breakfast- One Protein Shake
Lunch- Chili beans and cheerios
Dinner- Leftovers- Chili beans and cheerios

Tuesday-
Same thing, Substitute Instant Mac for Chili Beans In my cheerios.

Wednesday-
Repeat Monday

Thursday-
Today my mom gets Chemo, at the Chemo hospital they hand out free chicken broth and saltine crackers. I fill up with enough to cover all three meals.

Friday-
Repeat Tuesday

Saturday-
Mmmmm, coffee, real drive through coffee.
Lunch/Dinner- mashed potatoes with cheese and crushed up crackers.

Sunday-
Breakfast- left over mashed potatoes
Lunch/Dinner- Birthday party BBQ. There was NO cake involved. Don’t get me started on a birthday party with no cake. Someone owes Jessi a birthday cake.

Sometimes I do wonder what I will do if I ever do find a husband. I’m guessing he won’t like the foods I eat. I wonder if this has anything to do with why I am still single? No that can’t be it. ;)

  1. I don't think it is the husband that changes you....it is the kids. they tend to object to those type of meals. However, on the other hand, you can always cook and skip the meals like me.

  3. Grace, I think you are a girl after my own heart. We could probably be roommates and do our "cooking" together. However I do not have a husband either so I think it could actually be the reason. My normal meals consist of crackers and olives and sometimes croutons dipped in ranch. occasionally there is cheese too. The guys I date usually end up taking me out to dinner a lot, I think they don't like croutons or something...

  5. Grace that is gross! How do you survive on food like that? I would last about 10 minutes on that kind of food.
